MEET LIONEL
*Lionel Leach’s Record of Public Service*
Lionel Leach brings more than 35 years of experience in government, community service and public advocacy. As an Outreach Director for a United States Senate office, he worked to strengthen connections between communities and government. As Regional and State Director for the NAACP National Voter Fund, he worked on voter participation efforts across 40 states.
As Legislative Director to State Senator Ronald L. Rice, Lionel helped develop legislation addressing urban infrastructure, voter protection and other issues affecting New Jersey communities. His public service has also included leadership roles involving the New Jersey Legislative Black Caucus and USA Track & Field.
Today, Lionel is bringing that experience, leadership and commitment home to help build a stronger future for Orange.
